Axis Electronics has been working within the commercial aerospace sector for many years and within the supply chain of the worlds prime aircraft manufacturers. We have successfully participated in some ground breaking projects that have improved passenger safety, security and in flight experiences. Axis fully understands the implications of having to support a commercial airline for the duration of its expected life, which can be 20 years or more. With AS9100 rev.C quality accreditation and multi SC21 Silver awards, we welcome Standards body and customer audit processes, as we aim to continuously improve as a result of such experiences, and keep raising our own performance expectations.

One of the biggest challenges within the commercial avionics market is to provide 100% material traceability back to original manufacturer and in some cases the exact country or origin for the minerals used within the components. Through collaborative working between supply chain partners, Axis can ensure the evidence of material authenticity and traceability prior to build, presented as part of the AS9120 FAIR pack and available for scrutiny in line with customers' flow down requirements.
