The Naval School and the Poulmic School Group (EN / GEP) are:

The Naval School, provides initial training for active naval officers.

The Military School of the fleet welcomes the so-called short formations (less than one year) of naval officers.

One-third of the seamen's courses are mainly mariners and specialists in nautical specialties (sailors, helmsmen, sailors).

This ensemble provides initial training for most naval officers and is the obligatory point of departure for all crewmembers of the nautical specialties. The Naval School is thus enriched by the presence of the different colleges established on the same site, linked to a vocation: to train navigation and maneuver.
