Handover of the first of two Airbus A321LR for German Armed Forces

On June 23, 2022, ILA Berlin provided the setting for the public unveiling of the first of two Airbus A321LR for Bundeswehr, the German Federal Armed Forces. Since December 2021, our experts have worked hard to modify the factory-fresh and rather empty aircraft into a versatile and efficient multi-purpose tool for passenger, troop, and parliamentary transport missions. In 2023, it will moreover be available for the so-called MedEvac role, transporting up to six intensive care patients or up to twelve slightly/moderately ill/injured patients. Compared to its predecessors, the A321LR consumes up to 20 percent less fuel than previous generation aircraft, giving 15+10 not only short- and medium-, but also true long-range capabilities.
