A leading German aluminum mill manufacturer faced sealing issues due to rapid wear of sealing lips caused by high heat generation from a high rolling speed of up to 38 m/s. Average seal lifespan was around 1,600 hours.

With reduced friction and heat generation, the new seals achieved a lifespan of over 3.5 years (approximately 30,000 hours) without leakage or functional defects, providing a 15-fold increase in seal lifespan compared to the previous solution.
