Zero Waste to Landfill (ZLF) Program

Since its launch, Virgin America has incorporated environmental sustainability practices across its operations. In 2013, LSG Sky Chefs instituted the Zero Waste to Landfill (ZLF) program with an aim to divert 100% of available waste from landfills in the U.S. by 2015.

By partnering with LSG Sky Chefs, Virgin America has been able to significantly reduce the waste to landfills from its more than 58,000 annual flights.
