Progress AAC (Ka-52 and Ka-62 production)

On 20 August, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev, who serves as Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, visited Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company (Progress AAC), a Russian Helicopters company. Progress AAC produces the Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and combat helicopter, and is preparing to launch serial production of the commercial multirole Ka-62.

Today we are producing prototypes of modern commercial helicopters, such as the Ka-62, Progress AAC Managing Director Yuri Denisenko told. These are experimental aircraft, and we plan to begin the first test flights in December, after retrofitting at Kamov Design Bureau.
