Test bench Hutchinson

Hutchinson invests in a test bench for Steering column hold cover qualification. He was developped in partnership with "Institute technico de Aragones" and now located in our tech Center from Caceres (Spain). The test bench can simulate different positions of the steering column. The equipment is including a thermal chamber simulating the conditions in the engine room and is capable to measure the torque in every working conditions. This test bench allows us to complete our development offer for premium OEMs and Tier 1 steering suppliers from design and simulation to complete qualification of our product. This tool will also support our efforts in the R&D phase. It enables us to test innovative solutions and materials for improved acoustic and lightweight product properties.
