Liebherr - The lift that writes port history in Rostock

Big things are happening in Rostock: Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH is lifting a 1,400-tonne component at a height of 40 metres and placing it with millimetre precision on the pillar of one of the world's largest offshore cranes. Disturbing factors such as wind, rain and fog cannot be used. Especially since this lift onto the "Orion" is a real world premiere. It is the first major work assignment of the TCC 78000. With a maximum lifting capacity of 1,600 tonnes and a double trolley driven by ten engines each, the new gantry crane from Liebherr is breaking new ground in maritime crane technology.
