Battery self-discharge and passivation in an IoT application - motion design part 4

Self-discharge and passivations impact on the battery life is complex to model and the potential disturbance brought by lithium passivation depends in some part on the application to be served by the batteries.

In the fourth video of our series, we explain which IoT applications are more likely to be impacted by passivation, and which one will remain passivation-tolerant.

This video is part of a series of 4 videos that explain the basic functioning of a primary lithium battery, and the main chemical reactions that occur in a Lithium Thionyl Chloride battery.
