Every aircraft needs a little pampering. With the slowdown in travel, our aircraft mechanics have been giving our planes a little TLC, including covers on the engines and cockpit windshields. We cant wait to wake our planes from their beauty sleep and welcome you on board, when the time is right. #icelandathome

On Sunday, we flew medical supplies from Shanghai to Iceland. Before landing at KEF, our flight path drew a heart over the hospitals in Reykjavik to show gratitude to our healthcare workers. Takk fyrir, to everyone whos working hard to keep us all safe

These days most of our fleet stays on the ground, but were also keeping an essential airbridge open, connecting Iceland with the rest of the world. In the past days and weeks weve flown home many passengers stranded abroad, and we have transported medical equipment to Iceland. These flights have taken us to places we dont usually fly, including Mexico and China. Thanks to our staff who dont stay home, so that you can get home. Please stay home, stay safe, and sjáumst fljótlega (see you in a while).
