MTU Overview: Military & Commercial engines

Every third commercial aircraft today flies with technology of MTU Aero Engines. The goal is to save more and more fuel and fly quieter with today's and future engine generations. Our company has more than 80 years of experience. In the military sector, MTU plays a key role in the most important European programs and is the main system partner for military engines of the German military. MTU also wants to be the trailblazer and partner for the military engine of the future. This is reflected in MTU's engagement in the Next European Fighter Engine (NEFE) project.
