XL Airways has chosen AFI KLM E&M to service its CF6s

France's XL Airways has chosen AFI KLM E&M for the shop inspections of the two CF6-80E1 engines that power its only Airbus A330-300. The two GE engines were taken care of in quick succession by Air France - KLM's maintenance division teams in Amsterdam during the first quarter of 2019.
AFI KLM E&M is specifying that the A330-300 was fitted with one replacement engine during this servicing period, a major plus point for this contract given the low availability of spares on the market.
