AMES expands its Dubai facility

On the eve of the opening of MRO Middle East exhibition, Aerostructures Middle East Services (AMES) inaugurated the extension of its Dubai facility at Jebel Ali on February 24. The joint venture 50-50 owned by Safran Nacelles and Air France KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has just doubled its workshop surface and workforce to develop its most recent activity, namely preventive maintenance of Fan Stator Modules (FSM) of General Electric GE90 engines (Boeing 777).
