Women in Science

For the first time in NASAs history, women are leading three out of four science divisions at the agency: https://go.nasa.gov/2vZ1Bg9. Sandra Cauffman is acting director of the Earth Science division; Nicola Fox is director of the Heliophysics division; and Lori Glaze leads the Planetary Science division.

Each woman is from a different country and brings unique expertise to NASAs exploration efforts.

They emphasize the need for mentors, growth and opportunities for women and inspire young girls and future explorers to live their dreams and reach for the stars.
