The RSA was born in 1947 of the need to regroup to face a regulation that had become less conciliatory. Since then, the RSA has been supporting and defending aviators, builders and collectors, both in terms of their rights to construction, design and restoration, and to be able to fly on the machines they have built.

RSA members include RSA Regional Committees, RSA Clubs offering workshops and hangars where some of the 3,000 aircraft registered in Fox-Papa and Fox-AZ and individuals, all of whom are passionate about .
