This conventional style ANR headset utilizes the Pilot Direct Noise Cancelling System, which directs noise cancelling toward the lower frequencies unlike any other ANR headset on the market. Embedded in the ANR technology is an Enhanced Voice Intelligibility (EVI) circuit. EVI enhances speech frequencies by 2-4 dB on all incoming radio/intercom audio. This unique combination of noise cancelling and speech enhancement gives this headset increased intelligibility and superior performance.
The Headset's comfort features include silcone gel ear seals and a pillow-top headpad. The full Flex Microphone boom can be adjusted to stay in any desired microphone position. Dual volume controls allow independent volume levels for each ear. A soft carrying case is included.
The PA-1761M is equipped with our new Auto On/Auto Shut-off proprietary circuitry. The ANR will automatically turn on when plugged into an aircraft with the radio turned on or plugged into an active intercom. The headset will shut-off automatically when the headset is unplugged from the battery box or is manually turned off using the toggle switch on the battery box. The headset will also automatically turn off when the radio or avionics master switch is turned off.
Unit comes standard with 19 ohm speakers and a M-101/AIC or M-87/AIC (5 ohm) dynamic microphone. The headset is compatible with C-130, C130J, C-141, KC-135, C-5B aircraft and the AIC-18 interphone used on many military aircraft.
